The Department of Materials, Imperial College London, recently purchased a Haier Biomedical ULT freezer after issues with delivery times from another vendor.

One of the main areas of research for the department is biomaterials and tissue engineering, which includes the development of new scaffolds for regenerative medicine, biomaterials characterisation, stem cell therapy, cell-materials interface engineering, self-assembled biomimetic copolymers and nanomaterials for biosensing applications.

Haier Biomedical, was able to supply from local stock, turning around the enquiry within one week to ensure the customer was up and running with additional freezer capacity meeting the department’s needs.

The department selected Haier Biomedical’s 728L Low Energy Freezer, Model DW-86L728J, which features innovative cabinet design to reduce energy consumption that provides reliable performance whilst reducing operational noise.”
